The Configuration Functions available to the Merchant are as follows:

  • Owner Profile - Set Email Address, ANS URLs, and the IM Options
  • Get Update - Request Delivery of the latest iGlom RDS Update Box
  • Connect Products - Connect (or Associate) Products with Inventory Items in Delivery Boxes
  • Import CSV - Import the Orders and Transactions CSV Files provided by the Marketplace


Owner Profile

The Owner Profile function is used to View and Edit the details about the Merchant's Account. Full instructions on using the Owner Profile function are found on the Owner Profile page.

Get Update

The iGlom RDS system includes an automatic Script Updater tool that can be used to update the RDS Plugin Script in every one of your Magic Boxes and RDS Delivery Boxes located on the same Sim. The Script Updater is included in the RDS Subscription Package and it is also available in the RDS Update Box. You can request delivery of the RDS Update Box at any time using the Get Update function of the Configuration category.

After you click the Get Update button, the RDS Update Box will be queued for delivery to you. You may check the Redelivery Report to determine the status of the delivery.

When you receive the Update Box, rez it and click it once to Open it. You will see the contents in a floating window similar to that shown above. Click the Copy To Inventory button; this will create a new folder in your Personal Inventory and copy the contents into it.

Connect Products

The Connect Products Configuration function is used to associate (connect) the Inventory Items in your Magic Boxes and RDS Redelivery Boxes to the Products you sell on the SL Marketplace. Full instructions on using this function are provided on the Connect Products page.

Importing the Orders and Transactions CSV Files

The Import CSV Configuration function is used to import the Orders and Transactions that predate the use of RDS. Once you start using RDS, all of your new Orders will be recorded. However the Orders that came before then can still be added to the RDS database using the Import CSV function.
